The Story Behind Peninsula Hot Springs
The springs come from a natural aquifer 637 metres beneath Fingal, found by brothers Charles and Richard Davidson after several years of drilling on the site in the late 1990s. The water rises at around 54 degrees Celsius and is cooled to a comfortable bathing temperature across the site's various pools, from the original Bath House pools to the newer hilltop and cave pool areas.
