Avalon sits around 55km from Melbourne CBD, which makes it further from most of Melbourne, but from the southern Peninsula (Sorrento, Rye, Rosebud, Cape Schanck) it is often a comparable or even shorter drive than Tullamarine. Avalon fares run about $50 more than the equivalent Tullamarine trip. If you are flying interstate for three days or longer, our fixed transfer fare is often cheaper than Avalon's own car park fees, which can reach $30 to $50 per day. Our drivers know the Princes Freeway and Geelong Bypass route to Avalon as well as they know EastLink and Peninsula Link to Tullamarine, and plan around peak hour traffic either way. International departures need 3 hours at the terminal, and we factor that into your scheduled pickup. Advance booking is recommended for early morning departures, though we handle same-day bookings subject to availability.
